KLS offers better sore throat relief
We looked into how ketoprofen lysine salt (KLS) mouthwash stacks up against benzydamine hydrochloride (BH) for treating sore throats. In a single-blind study with 241 patients, both mouthwashes were used twice daily for seven days. Results showed that KLS provided longer-lasting pain relief and was better tolerated than BH. While both treatments had some side effects, significantly more BH users reported issues. Overall, it seems KLS might be the more effective option for soothing a sore throat.

Wonderful! I take 2000mg at the first signs of a cold sore or sore throat, 2-3 times a day, and within a few days, it clears up. I and many others I know also take it right at the first sign of illness, as it’s highly effective.

I’ve been using L-Lysine for many years, and although I wish the capsules were easier to swallow, it's become my flu prevention booster. I start taking it immediately when I am exposed to someone sick or if I feel a cold or sore throat coming on. It’s essential to start straight away for effectiveness.
